Terms of Use
Last updated: 6 November 2026
These Terms of Use apply to your use of the Valfind website and application (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service. Questions: info@valfind.com.
1. The Service
Valfind is a business tool that helps you identify and find valves and prepare purchase requests. Access is given to accounts that we create or approve.
2. Your account
- Keep your password confidential and do not share your account with other people.
- Tell us at once if you think your account has been used without your permission.
- We may suspend or block an account at any time for security reasons or if these Terms are not respected.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- copy, scrape or download the data of the Service in bulk, or try to get around the usage limits;
- reverse engineer, disrupt or attack the Service or try to access accounts or data that are not yours;
- use the Service for anything unlawful, or send content that is harmful, misleading or that you have no right to send.
Usage limits apply to protect the Service and may change.
4. Accuracy of information
The valve data (dimensions, weights, codes and similar information) is compiled from manufacturers’ datasheets and is provided for guidance. Before you order or install a valve, please verify the information with the manufacturer or supplier. You are responsible for your ordering and technical decisions.
5. Requests and emails
When you press Send, your request is emailed as a PDF, with your optional message and files, to the recipients configured for your account. You are responsible for what you write and attach.
6. Support access
To give support and keep the Service secure, Valfind staff can see usage information for your account and may open your account, as described in our Privacy Policy.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, its design, software and the compilation of its data belong to Valfind. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for your own business purposes while your account is active.
8. Availability
We work to keep the Service available, but it is provided “as is” and we do not promise that it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or maintain the Service at any time.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Valfind is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss that results from an order or a decision made on the basis of information in the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
10. Ending your use
You may stop using the Service at any time and may ask us to delete your account. We may end access as described in section 2.
11. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. If you continue to use the Service after a change, you accept the new Terms.
